Hi,

it seems I faced the same problem when I tried to shrink an NTFS from 1TB to 400 GB using a Live Version of GParted 0.4.8 with Knoppix (Debian) Distribution V6.2.


fdisk -l -u:

Disk /dev/sda: 1000.2 GB, 1000204886016 bytes

Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes

I found the solution by myself and made the corrections on my own.
Now everything's back in place and looks fine.
