Re: Can't create NTFS partitions

you must first SELECT the area to enable fs....
If it doesnt help, please, past the output of
# fdisk -ul

thx

Re: Can't create NTFS partitions

If i write fdisk this comes up

Usage: fdisk [-l] [-b SSZ] [-u] device
E.g.: fdisk /dev/hda (for the first IDE disk)
or: fdisk /dev/sdc (for the third SCSI disk)
or: fdisk /dev/eda (for the first PS/2 ESDI drive)
or: fdisk /dev/rd/c0d0 or: fdisk /dev/ida/c0d0 (for RAID devices)
  ...

i can only see the thumbnail, but i think you are using an old version of gparted. Please download the latest livecd (0.3.1-1) and try again.

Re: Can't create NTFS partitions

BTW, try #fdisk -ul /dev/<your_device>
where your device is hda or hdb or hdd, or sda or sdb, or what ever you should know... smile ------> just look in gparted the name of the device.
