Topic: Unattend the Start of GParted ?

Hi Dudes,

i working for a way to Integrate GParted to OpenGhost ( FOG ), it´s in and working, over PXE.
Is there a way don´t be asked about keyboardsettings, and the Final Press Enter at the Start of GParted? It should start GParted imediatly without any Questions ...

Nice work Here Everybody!

Re: Unattend the Start of GParted ?

I'm afraid it would be valid for specific computer hardware only and for a specific language configuration. All these options were added to make it possible to boot on virtually any computer configuration.

Nevertheless, I wait the developer's point of view on this.

*** It is highly recommended to backup any important files before doing resize/move operations. ***

You can give GParted live 0.3.8-9 (in Testing branch) a try. With this version, you can assign gl_lang, gl_kbd, and gl_batch in the boot parameters. For example, you can put
gl_lang=en_US gl_kbd=NONE gl_batch
then gparted live won't ask you those settings.

Thanks works fine!

But there is another "Press Enter" at the End. with "Please Remove the Disc ....".
Is there a way to deaktivate that ?

Re: Unattend the Start of GParted ?

Put "noprompt" in the boot parameters.
The booting of GParted live is based on live initramfs, so you can find more info:
http://packages.debian.org/live-initramfs
http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/har … ramfs.html (somewhat old... but it's worthy to check the list)
