Topic: Xp Won't Boot After resize

I have a 60 GB hard Drive with XP Factory Installed. I Shrank the XP partition to 20 Gb and left the other 40GB unallocated. Xp Will NOT boot. I Installed a Linux Distro(Freespire) to the remaining 38 GB. leaving 2 GB left over for the swap. Now, the linux boots, and I set the active OS to XP on the Gparted editor. Linux Boots. Help me!

Re: Xp Won't Boot After resize

Did you use Gparted livecd to shrink the partition? Version?
Do you have any error message?
Is the partition accessible by Linux?

Re: Xp Won't Boot After resize

You can check the filesystem status using your already working linux (Freespire) or a linux live/install cd like Ubuntu, Fedora or other.
If they can mount the partition and access data, then there is just a problem with windows boot to fix.
