Topic: Video will not work on Dell Latitude XT (Tablet variation of Laptop)

CD boots okay, but video will not display.  Have attempt to use Forcevideo with VESA, and all resolutions given.

The Graphics card is ATI Radeon Xpress 1250.

Gparted detects card as ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Xpress 1250

Message given by Gparted below:

If I try radeon for screen type, (EE) No device detected.

If I try vesa for screen type with 1024x768, & other Resolutions the same.

(II) Module already built-in
(EE) Vesa(0): no matching modes
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have usable configuration

Using version 0.3.4-11 and 0.3.4-9 - neither work.

0.3.4-9 works okay on Dell Latitude D430

Did you try all the boot options? There is an option "VESA driver" too.
"Video will not display" means that you have the text terminal screen? Do you have any error message? Black graphics screen? distorded graphics? monitor turns off?
Another older version could solve the problem too.
