Topic: blank screen on reboot

I used the livecd to resize my xp and linux partitions, everything went fine but after it finished i rebooted and now all i see is a blank screen. The computer is on and everything seems to be running but the screen is in sleep mode. Any ideas on what to do.

well i just figured it out, i unplugged my dvd drive and it booted right up. Any ideas why?

I have noticed that some computer refuse to boot with some USB devices plugged and turned on, especially external USB drives. I have in mind a case with Gigabyte motherboard.
