Topic: vista and win 2000pro dual boot

I just completed an HD partition on a Toshiba with vista factory installed. When I tried to load win 2000 pro I get a message telling me that I cannot run win 2000 missing system32\ntoskrnl.exe. I did restore my computer back to vista its running ok but I still cannot load win 2000 in the partition that I have created with Gparted live CD. I tired booting from the cd and the boot cd. I don’t know how to install the boot files for win 2000 on that partition.

I can see the partition in vista disk management as E: help!

This is a pure windows dual boot issue. You rather have to search in mswindows forums.
Two windows versions in the same computer aren't so simple to run. I know that it is usually more easily done with the older version installed the first.
