Topic: How To Make A Boot CD

I have in my Winrar Folder Syslinux, Boot, gparted.dat I have extracted all files and folders to a temp folder and have burned to cd. How can I get my laptop to boot to this CD. My DVD drive is the first option in the boot sequence but my laptop won't boot to this CD. I have used Gparted-livecd-0.3.4-11

You have to burn the .iso file as a CD image, not extract the files from it.

I don't know which program you use to burn CDs, so I can't point to exact instructions for that, but these are two sites that explain this for different programs:
