Topic: Older Version needed which one fits to Celeron 333

Hi,

after devoting the larger HD to Xubuntu (7.10) I still wish to make several partitions
before I start working on it. But the actual Version of live CD gives me a lot of OKs than
freezes (pink half screen), one time half toolbar, right side.
Someone gave the advice to try 0.2.5.2. but this version asks too many questions,
means to many possibilities to try and error. Is there any more sophisticated
version between for my Celeron 333 (128MB RAM, Siemens Pro D6)

I'm afraid 0.2.5 version is buggy, so it would be better to try a version from 0.3.3 or early 0.3.4 (something like 0.3.4-2 or 0.3.3-7).

Are you sure it is only the processor speed that causes the problem? Did you try various graphics options?
