Topic: Live CD locks up on Boot of a dell server

I'm trying to repartition a Dell Poweredge server with windows 2003 installed on it.  When I boot the Live cd regardless of which options I choose off of the grub menu it does the following

starts boot.
Finds the SCSI2 percraid
Identifies the perc raid controller and the 3 disks attached to it
looks for a few other adapters like AIC94xx, sym53c416, qlogicfas etc and fails on these then reports the necxt three lines before locking

PCI: found irq7 for device 0000:05:06.0
PCI: sharing IRQ7 with 0000:04:08.1
PCI: assigned IRQ11 for device 0000:05:06.1

the cursor drops to the next line and the systems is locked ( Ctrl-alt-del does not work num lock and caps lock keys no longer respond.

I have also tried noapic and pci=biosirq  ont eh boot optiosn as well with identical results.

Where do I go from here?

If this happens with the version 0.3.4-8 or 7, could you try the version 0.3.4-5 please?  The main difference is udev.
