Topic: Help! CRC Error by loading GParted

Hi. I've just downloaded the last version of GParted and wanted to use it. By choosing any of the options in the boot menager I get a CRC Error by "uncompressing Linux" position. What can be the reason for that.
I have a computer with two IDE HD, running Windows XP (with FAT32, the first HD is partitioned in three partitions). The processor is AMD.
Thank you in advance!

[Edit] I just tried an older version of GParted and I get the same.

Are you sure the downloaded files are good?
Please, run the md5sum check.
You can find the MD5SUM values in the "changelog" links for each version.

md5sum is correct. I also burned three CD-s on a different computers. How can I check if the CD is w/o errors?

How did you burn the cd? It must be done as bootable "ISO Image".
There are already in the forum some reports about crc error after the boot screen, caused by incorrect iso burning.
