Topic: Video Mode Problem (Solved)

When trying to boot up with GParted Live 0.3.4-7, the bootup sequence ends with a complaint from my display (Hyundai 17" LCD) that the requested video mode is not supported.  At that point everything is halted and I must reset to do anything.

Is there some way to set the "video mode" to something within the Hyundai monitor's ability?

I solved this by using another monitor, but I now see how to approach the problem.  Thanks!

Re: Video Mode Problem (Solved)

You can try another video option from the initial boot screen.
A good option usually is VESA.

Another tip you can try, is to press control+alt+backspace, to stop the x session and run the script "Forcevideo", with the options about your graphics card and a resolution like 1024x728 or 800x600.
