Topic: Question Concerning Resizing

I need to resize my "/" partition and it won't let me. I need to leave 10gb more on the hdd for a windows partition for gaming, counterstrike: source has a performance drop on wine. Any help would be greatly appreciated! smile

You can't resize a mounted partition. You have to use the liveCD instead of the installed gparted version, otherwhise you can't resize the partition of a working system.

LiveCD doesn't mount any partition.
