Topic: Problems with GParted LiveCD

I posted a message asking how to get past the GRUB prompt when trying to boot from the live CD. This got me zero responses. I tried several different ways to get the latest version of GParted (0.3.4-6) to load form the live disk, but I always got a GRUB prompt. I never found a way around it. However, when I went back to an older version of GParted (0.3.3-0)  it would boot up and install.  Once opened it seemed to be functional but finicky. The terminal and other icons weren't functional and I was unable to exit the program. There were two options:1. remove disk and reboot, and 2) reboot.  The disk could be removed but I was never able to reboot or otherwise get out of the program normally. I had to shut down the computer and reboot it.

Given all these troubles, it seems to me that the program is still buggy.

Can anyone shed some additional light on this for me?

Thank you.

Yers I made changes to the liveCD : it now boots off grub.
If you install to usb stick you will find the isolinux boot options.
