Topic: GParted Live 1.5.0-1 on a NUC 12 NUC12SNKi72 does not work

Hi

Using a USB stick, I tried to start GParted Live 1.5.0-1 on a NUC 12 NUC12SNKi72 but it does not work in either normal or Failmode.

In normal mode, the screen goes completely black without any writing.

While in Failmode, the following writings are displayed:

Unable to change power state from D3cold to do, device inaccessible.

Cannnot get IRQ -1 for hotplug controller notification initialization failed (-1).

Unable to init MCE device (RC -5).

So what can I do?

Normally this is related to Linux kernel. It does not support your hardware well.
Maybe an update in GNU/Linux will fix this issue.
We have a testing GParted live 1.5.0-2 in the testing branch. It comes with newer Linux kernel. You can give it a try.
If it does not work for you, maybe you can try:
1. Older version of GParted live, 
2. Other GParted related live CD (e.g., https://www.system-rescue.org/)
3. Wait for newer Linux kernel to be used in GParted live.
