Topic: [SOLVED] How to merge unallocated partitions?

I tried to shrink an ext4 partition in order to make smaller images of it.

But the unallocated partition that was created is not merged with the rest of unallocated partition already existing.

I need to detach the 19GB unallocated space from the sdb2 and merge it with the actual, 30GB unallocated partition. How to do that?

Ok, i figured it out.

After i shrinked the free space in the extended partition i then had to shrink the "extended" partition as a whole and now i have 49GB unallocated space, outside the extended partition.
