Topic: Boot goes to "gparted ~ # "prompt

Hi I am new to this, using Live CD Version 0.3.4-7. It works fine on an old Desktop but on a newer laptop it boots to the "gparted ~ # "prompt. Message above the prompt says:
"So please run Forcevideo script, and you will be asked for video driver, and resolution"
"VESA driver should always work, and 1024x768 resolution too."
"If needed you can kill X by using ctrl+alt+backspace combination!"
"gparted ~ # _"
I am using the first "GParted - liveCD 0.3.4-7 (auto-configuration)" option on boot.
Using default keymap and default english language.
Reports video card as "Intel corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express integrated graphics controller"

Sorry I am such a rookie, any help will be appreciated.
I searched posts but found nothing like this, only that laptops seem to have problems
Thank you

Steve

You can choose to boot with vesa driver from the initial boot menu.
or
you can give Forcevideo+[enter] at the "gparted ~ # _" prompt, then it asks you for driver and you give vesa. Then, you go to the graphic screen with
Control+Alt+F5 (i think).

Thank you!
I can't believe I overlooked the VESA option on the initial boot menu. Worked great.  Now I'm reading up on how to dual boot so daughter can use Vista, ughh.
