Topic: Gparted Live Boot from Vsphere

So I got the live 64 iso and tried to boot from a vm in Vsphere I net the connected to on and selected the ISO tried to boot from the ISO and its not working it goes right to the ubuntu install I tried to set some delay time still will not boot for some reason.

its vsphere 6.7

I am trying to expand a linux partition on a vm, the vm is already expanded
my goal here is to expand the linux partition and not lose any data

I see root partition which is boot
Swap and Extended

Have your read some of the tutorials on VMware resizing in the GParted Articles?

It is important to boot the VM using a live image in order to perform the resize, so you might need to add a line like bios.bootDelay = "5000" to your .vmx file so you can adjust the BIOS/UEFI to boot from devices other than HDD.
