HELP Resizing partition WITHOUT DATA LOSS

Hello! I am also a 'GParted n00b' like many of these posters.

What I would like to do is to just make my main ext3 partition that my Ubuntu 7.06 is installed on bigger by a few Gigs. But the thing is... I have made all too many alterations and additions to start from scratch again. So I'm wondering if, through this little piece of software, it would be possible to do this without any data loss whatsoever and continue on as if nothing happened (except a major storage boost). I have already freed up the amount that I would like to add in windows using partition magic 8.0. Now all I have to do is merge it somehow.

Any advice or tips or whatever you have to offer me would be greatly appreciated.
