EFI_MEMMAP is not enabled

i went through a lot of steps ti finally make the USB disk, doing it straight from tuxboot yielded a device that was completely unrecognizable on boot, so i installed gparted, made a new FAT32 partition and formatted it, then used tuxboot. the device was then recognizable in both legacy bios and UEFI. but it was unbootable in bios. i was able to boot it in UEFI but in the gparted initial screen when i select one of the top 2 options it goes to a black screen that says:
efi: EFI_MEMMAP is not enabled
when i click uefi firmware setup it just reboots into bios
