Topic: using livecd for the first time - stalls

it seems to hang part way thru.  I chose the first option from the menu.

It stayed on a line for about 4 minutes, going no further.  Is this normal?

I'm testing this on a winxp workstation, but I intend to use this to resize the D partition of a Win 2003 Small Business Server.

Try unplugging unneeded external devices (USB drives, etc.)
