Trouble running set_usb.sh script

Hello,
Please forgive me if the solution to this problem is obvious, I'm a newbie to linux and not used to shell scripts.

I am trying to make a bootable usb drive out of the gparted iso file using the set_usb.sh script.  However, I am getting some strange errors, where the script seemingly exits for no reason.  When I run the script I get the following output:

dustin@dustin-laptop:~/Desktop/Gparted$ sudo sh set_usb.sh

[: 16: /tmp/gparted: unexpected operator

$                This script is to be run to copy files from GParted-livecd ISO file to usb stick. Run this script from the directory where you downloaded the GParted-livecd ISO file. I assume you have a usb stick formatted as FAT (or FAT32), with at least 55 MO free. You are now going to be asked the path where your usb stick is mounted.

Any suggestions on how to debug this would be appreciated.

FYI: I'm running Ubuntu 7.04
