Topic: Problem with a USB Pen Drive

I can't delete, format or copy new files to my Pen Drive. When I delete files it shows me that the files has been deleted. But when I replug my Pen Drive the files are there. I used GParted to delete the drive and recreate the partition. But I get this error.

I don't know how to fix this. Please help me to correct this. Thank you!

If you expand all the details of the last step then you should find more information.  I suspect that you encountered a I/O error which would suggest that the USB drive is failing.

You can also look at the output of the dmesg command after you encounter the problem.

If you are still unsure then save and post the contents of the details log gparted_details.htm.
