Topic: Cannot perform any operations

Hi, I just downloaded the Live Media ISO file (latest release) and tried to perform a resize of my ntfs partition.  The drive was checked with chkdsk /f before running gparted however I am constantly receiving this error whenever it tried to resize:

"ntfsresize v1.13.1.1
Error(16) opening /dev/sd6 as ntfs failed: device or resource busy"

I tried rebooting and again I received the same error so I executed a shell and checked if /dev/sd6 was mounted which it wasn't... is there anything else I can try?

open a terminal
type the following command and hit ENTER, and post it here :

mount
