la-latin1 is actually LATIN (or something likewise)

Hi guys i hope this is in the correct category, this is the issue: I don't exactly remember since which version of the live cd ISO, everytime I select pc...latinamerica (I'm from México) in the keyboard layout selection prompt, an then when X has started and I try to write something I don't really know what set of characters are those but they are not even occidental, actually it is not a problem, when the prompt appears I usually select spanish and problem solved but anyway i wanted you to know
