Topic: live media VM to fix another VM?

thought i posted this yesterday, i'll try again.

i want to run gparted on a corrupt linux VM. the VM only boots into emergency mode now.

i can run gparted-live as a VM and want to know if its possible for it to then access the corrupt VM this way and see if it can fix it?

Yes.  You can instruct your Virtual Machine software to boot from the GParted Live .iso file.  From there the GParted Live image will have access to the disk devices within the VM.
