I everyone i am new to this site i am not sure if this is where i write my question but i download   file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/valid%20user/My%20Documents/Downloads/gparted-live-0.18.0-2-i486%20(1).iso but i and not seeing the application to load and trying to burn it to cd does not work i need to partitiion my drive so i can have a dual boot for both winxp and win7 and i need help. Pleeese

The iso file isn't just an application. It is the image of the entire bootable cd (or usb stick), that is able to boot the computer and run GParted.
Please look for Installation Instructions in the Live CD/USB page.
