Topic: Delete Partiton

Want to Delete sda3 LVM2 PV (has CentOS on it) using GParted 0.12.1 on live MINT14 disk.

I have /dev/hda3 highlighted. I clicked on Partitions but the only options highlighted are Manage Flags, and Information.

Is it possible to delete /dev/sda3 using Gparted from a live disk? If so, what do I do?

Support for LVM2 PV's was improved with GParted 0.14.0.  As such you might want to try the latest version (currently 0.15.0 - released today :-).  The latest version will permit you to disable any active LVM2 PVs and then delete these.

The easiest way to gain access to all the features is by using GParted Live.  The GParted Live 0.15.0-1 release will follow in a day or so.  In the mean time you could use the 0.15.0-beta1 release or the 0.14.1-6 release.
