Topic: Compiling a Live ISO
Hi Gparted geniuses.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
I successfully compiled 0.14.1 with libparted 3.1 on my Ubuntu 12.04 x64 system (thanks to the gparted git site and this forum).
Now I am trying to create a LIVE CD from my system (so I would have a live Gparted CD with libparted 3.1).
I have been following the directions in: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/create-gparted-live.php, and can get to the last step where I run the "sudo create-gparted-live -bt debootstrap ......" part.
During this step I keep getting the following error and have not been able to figure out how to get around it:
"E: Unable to locate package linux-image-2.6-486"
I was hoping someone could guide me to some reading material or specifically what to do?
OR
I would even be more than happy to copy the current Live CD to a HD, change out whatever specific files/dirs (tar them or manually copy over) and convert back to an ISO.
Thanks for any help
