Topic: Several problems following Create GParted live from scratch procedure

I'm doing my best to follow the Create GParted live from scratch procedure but encountered the following problems.

I made it beyond the "E: Package 'mkisofs' has no installation candidate" message by following the apt-get suggestion of using 'genisoimage'.

I continue to follow the procedure until it is time to Run: "/opt/drbl/sbin/create-gparted-live" and then get "lb config: unrecognized option '--packages'".

The "live build" information I found says documentation is "todo".

I'd appreciate help from anyone that can provide (or direct me to) the necessary information.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Re: Several problems following Create GParted live from scratch procedure

Thanks for your work. With the updates, I was able to create a bootable CD with additional tools. However, I expected the desktop to include the "normal" icons since I specified the "Or more options you can try (this is how GParted live 0.12.1-5 was created):" command.

One additional warning to others:
Don't try to mount an NTFS partition to /mnt when http://gparted.sourceforge.net/create-gparted-live.php says "mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt". If I remember correctly, you will be get an error message saying to use a filesystem that doesn't have noexec or nodev options.

I wish I could include or attach the script I used to create the ISO but the forum post tool says I exceed the allowed number of URLs. One other possible "improvement" would be addition of the "-y" option to "apt-get" commands but I didn't test that.
