Topic: gparted live cd/usb gives timeout error on HP DV6121TX

My laptop is HP DV6 6121TX. Since linux has problems with dynamic disk i changed my disk drive to basic.

Problem is when i use gparted live cd or usb, half way down loading it hangs and gives time out error.

it was printing like this
[   23.810423] hp_accel : driver loaded
udevd[419]: timeout: killing '/sbin/modprobe -b pci :v00001xxxxxxxxxxx' [435]
udevd[419]: timeout: killing '/sbin/modprobe -b pci :v00001xxxxxxxxxxx' [435]
udevd[419]: timeout: killing '/sbin/modprobe -b pci :v00001xxxxxxxxxxx' [435]
prints timeout message continuously

The same live CD but worked perfectly on another HP dv2 laptop.

Do you mean that the live cd doesn't boot into the GParted screen?
Can you post the version of the live cd / usb you used?
If it is the latest stable, you can try with a previous version to see if the same problem occurs.
