Topic: Problems expanding boot partition with bad sectors.
Hey guys,
I have a problem expanding my boot partition with gparted.
Gparted says my boot partition /dev/sda1 has at least 2 bad sectors. So i followed the instructions running chkdsk f r and booting twice. I tried this a few times but the problem is still remaining.
I have enough free space to expand my partition to 30011mb but gparted doesnt work because of this problem.
So i tried the bad sectors option in ntfsresize.
ntfsresize -s30011M --bad-sectors /dev/sda1
No i get a list with the cluster volume and other info, BUT also an error 'New size cant be bigger than the device size. If you want to enlarge NTFS then first enlarge the device size by e.g. fdisk.'
Now I have no idea how to proceed. Can someone help me?
