*i made post on another forum because here is only one pic allowed per post.
it is possible to post there as guest
i will watch both forums

*edit
i fixed it,
downloaded partition wizard home edition that runs under Windows XP, he was able to see linux partition,
i erased it and then my computer crashed and on boot message appeared:"GRUB- error: no such partition grub rescue>"
i was really scared at this point, thought my windows xp was deleted or something.
turns out deleting linux partitions, i messed up windows Master Boot Record.
so i downloaded rescatux, booted it from USB, and fixed MBR using that.
My windows XP booted and everything is ok now smile

Re: [SOLVED] broken DL links, [SOLVED] deleting linux partitions and MBR

We have a bug report logged with Source Forge regarding this problem.
"Default Download For" does not work

In the meantime, the latest stable release can be downloaded from the following folder:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gparted … /0.12.0-2/

windows Master Boot Record

There is one Master Boot record on the hard drive (the first sector of the drive). The BIOS looks there for the boot code, when it tries to boot from this hard drive.
You can restore the xp boot ability by booting from the win xp install cd into the "recovery" mode.
