Topic: Monitor turns off after boot

I burned the latest GParted LiveCD image here and booted. Everything went fine until the monitor suddenly turned off. I tried to reboot and the same thing happened. It seems the monitor is off (the LED keeps flashing as if it is on standby). I tried to turn it off for several seconds, even unplugged the cables, but it didn't work.

I have a nVidia GeForce FX 5600 with an AMD Athlon XP 2400+

Please, I really need GParted working ASAP. See if you can help me.

What about your screen ?
I have the same video card here and it makes me no problem, but i use  a CTR screen.

I'm using a CRT too, Samsung SyncMaster 17GLsi.
