Topic: live USB & NTFS
Howdy, I'm new to gparted (and not much of a linux expert) so please forgive the basic questions. I've looked around the docs & the forums and still don't quite understand how to setup a usb flash drive to boot into gparted & have ntfs formatting capabilities. I see how to use the simple windows app to format & make a usb drive bootable and how to burn the live usb .iso image, but it isn't clear how to add the ability to add ntfs support.
From the docs it looks like I need to add ntfsprog. I know how to build & install it in cygwin, but I'm clueless how/where to add the utils to the flash image once I've burned the live USB image. How do I do this?
thanks
edit: well, the flash drive gets the zip files, not the .iso image I built ntfsprogs and found that it generated .exe files for each util. Do I just copy those onto the flash drive?
