It isn't often needed to resize a swap partition, because it is easy to just delete and recreate it (there is no really content to save).
To be able to grow the partition, be sure that you have free disk space just before or after the partition. Furthermore, be sure that free and existing partition are both out or in any extended partition. You can't allocate space from within the extended partition to a primary partition. In this case, you have to shrink the extended partition to have the free space out of it.

The detail file (in html format) is located in RAM and disappears with the computer powerdown or reboot. To save it, you have to copy it usually to a removable medium (floppy disk, usb stick). You can find how to save details, in the GParted Documentation page (look for "Save gparted_details.htm file".
