Topic: [closed] Add feature: Growing UFS file system. Port of growfs utility

Hey guys!

I've found there's a boy who has written a port of the growfs utility to grow UFS file systems. The source code can be downloaded from here:
www.netbsd.org/~haad/growfs-24102010.tar.bz2

I've found the info here:
http://old.nabble.com/-HEADS-UP--growfs … 41230.html

So I'm wondering if you can be interested in adding this feature to Gparted.

In the source code, we can read the license. I don't know a lot about laws, so if you understand it, feel free to explain us if we can add it freely to Gparted.

Thanks,

videoclock

Do you know if anyone ported this code to GNU/Linux?

From reading it sounds like this was ported from FreeBSD to NetBSD, but not to GNU/Linux.

It seems you're right. Reading carefully the source code, I see some libraries which don't seem to be part of GNU/Linux.
