Topic: Where is my eth0

Im trying to use partimage to clone a partition to another computer in my network running partimage-server. The problem is Gparted LiveCD doesn't recognize my eth0 card. I need it, so I can access the network. How can I do it?

There is no support for network, and wont be since the main developer who doesn't want it... sad
But you can ask for it in the feature request smile

It's a pitty... since GParted deals with partitioning, it would also be a great backup/cloning tool to use across networks. Do you know why there is no interest in network support? It seems such a good idea to me.

Yes, but  : more features = more bugs possibilities and more work to make it work ....
