Topic: Does the Live Cd version work on intel Mac OS X?

Hi, I am  a bit of a noob and was wondering will the live CD of GParted work on an Intel Core 2 Duo Mac . I sort of think it should (isn't that the whole idea of Live CDs?) but it just came to mind how can the live CD have drivers for all computers, Windows and Mac?

Also, I just wanted to be able to format an external USB drive to EXT3. Gparted Live CD will allow me to do that, right? I absolutely don't want to touch my Mac's internal hard drive- it will be easy/obvious when running the Gparted live CD to see the differences between my 600GB internal hard drive and my external 4GB USB drive and avoid doing any damage to my system?

The Live CD will 100% make no changes to my system at all? It doesn't save anything to my hard drive or make any system changes? Once I exit the Live CD it will be as though I never used it?

Lastly, what I really wanted was a way to do this through OS X (Snow Leopard) but as a GUI. I came across a MacFuse and fuse-ext2 (http://alperakcan.org/?open=projects&am … =fuse-ext2 but that is console/terminal/commandline based, so that's a non runner for me. I also came across ext2fsx but that doesn't work with Snow Leopard. Does any body know of a GUI driver for EXT3 for OS X?

Thanks for any help.
