Topic: Add space at beginning of drive to hda2 partition [SOLVED]
I want to change a dual boot XP/Ubuntu notebook to Ubuntu only.
XP was at hda1 and Ubuntu is still at hda2.
I re-formatted hda1 from NTSF to EXT3 thinking I could then merge it with hda2. (Go ahead, laugh.)

Now, I've got an empty 14+G EXT3 at the beginning and two linux-swap partitions at the end.
How do I go about creating one 35+G EXT3 -and-
why do I need TWO swap partitions at the end instead of just one? Can I just delete one of them? If I can, which should I delete?
Thanks in advance!
