Topic: Partition table: Where's the official documentation?

Somewhere on planet Earth, there must be a document that presents the OFFICIAL specification for the partition table, i.e. the document that lays out ALL the allowed values and the semantics for interpreting the partition table.

I am looking for the official spec, not an unofficial explanation of the spec.

Anybody know where the spec lives?

Hello Howard,
this is NOT enough for you ? I already gave you this link. Microsoft isn't "official" enough, you need an ISO standard ?

I have never seen that link.

I'll look at it, but if all it does is describe MSFT's implementation, that's not the specification.

The official spec would be elsewhere.
