Topic: Does not recongnise "samsung 250g IDE"

Hi
I have searched for the answer to this without success, and hopefully i can be pointed in the right direction.
I booted livecd and it gores through the setup process and takes me to the main screen that allows you to create the partition, however is does not recognise the drives.
My current operating system is windows xp home and the drives are samsung 250g IDE

Ant assistance please?

Which version of the livecd did you try ?
Last version (beta one) ?

Hi  Larry

The first one i tried was 0.3.3.0, this is the one that that gets to the main GUI screen but does not show the HDD.
I also tried the beta, as per one of your replys to another post and it gets so far and then hangs, ther only option out of it is to warm boot.

Just to be sure : you really tried the *last* one ? 0.8.5.1 ?
I *will* upload a new one with last kernel avaible... take a look at it during the day...

It was definatly 0.3.3.0 and  0.8.5.1

i changed the title to be more precise...
Try the last iso with last kernel asap = when i will upload it tongue
