Topic: [SOLVED] Missing data

I recently deleted a partition and resized another to cover the unassigned space. I thought I moved all my data to a portable HD, but I am missing files. Nothing that cannot be replaced (music and a few program files) but I am wondering if there is a way to access files that were on the deleted partition, as a search of my C:\ drive shows none of my missing files. Any help in saving me time of having to find cds and re-downloading , etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Re: [SOLVED] Missing data

depends, the data is still there till it gets overwritten. maybe a program like spinrite can help you out..

Re: [SOLVED] Missing data

I ran SpinRite, unfortunately most of my data had already been written over. Thank you all for your help.
