Topic: Computer won't boot from Live CD

I can't get my computer to boot from the CD.  I first tried restarting with the CD in the drive, but XP just booted normally.  My bios has two options for controlling boot priority, one is a boot selecter that lets you pick the drive, in this case my CD/DVD drive, and another let's you place them in the preferred order as the default setting.  I tried both options many times, a couple times together, etc.  Everytime however, it just boots to XP.  The drive is working, but I'm at a loss for what the issue is.  Can anyone give me some tips on troubleshooting this?  Thanks.

how did you burn the gparted-livecd iso file ?
