Topic: Support for dmraid/fakeraid

I have a new server which uses the Intel ICH7 onboard SATA Raid which is more or less a software RAID rather than hardware.

I am having problems with my linux distro installing due to having to load dmraid before starting gparted.

Does the LiveCD support the loading of fakeraid or dmraid? If so, I will use it to partition my drives first. If not, would this be a viable option in a future release due to the increasing amount of motherboards that are coming with this now.

Since version 0.2.5-4, modules may be loaded to enable sata; have a look at this: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/larry/li … /live2.jpg
