Topic: [closed] Vesa autodetection for VMware Virtual Machines

I'd like to see the ability to boot into a VMware Virtual Machine without having to go into the manual video card configuration.

Any thoughts?

I was thinking about having an alternate startup label, like the "lowmem" for older computers.

To be honest, my linux is rusty, and I'm a little swamped lately.  This would just be a nice to have.
