Topic: Disk Partition

I have an old XPS T500 Dell with a 13gb hard disk.  Somewhere along the line it has been partitioned like this - 9.32gb Fat32 and 2.66gb Fat32.  With this very small capacity disk I would like to re-unite these two and would appreciate any information on how to do this.

Re: Disk Partition

If you have enough free space in the first partition, you can copy all there, delete the 2nd partition and expand the 1st one to the entire disk space. You can use the latest Gparted LiveCD for that.

It's better to backup your content before (the easiest way is to do it on dvds or on an external drive). There are always chances that something goes wrong wink
