Topic: hidden partition

Please I need help.
I had true image installed and running OK with secure zone (a 4GB hidden partition).
Now I had to format the HD and I'm unable to retrive the hidden partition.
I cannot see even using fdisk, gparted, ParTEDIT32.
The hd had 60 GB and now I have only 3.91 GB for xp and 51.98 GB Unallocated.
I run out options and Knowledge.I also searched this forum but didn't find anything that's why this post.
I hope someone can shed some light on this old man's problem . . .

I thank you in advance for your time and help.

god bless you

Re: hidden partition

Dear friend, take note of the following:
Hard disk manufacturers name their products assuming that 1GB=60 billions of bytes. But in the world of programss and operating systems 1GB = 1024x1024x1024=1.073.741.824 bytes. It makes a difference about 7.3%, so a disk labeled "60GB" equals really 56GB (approximately).

If you formatted the hard disk using some bios utility (low level format), any information would be deleted, the partition table included.
