Topic: XFS Recovery

Hello,

The problem is: I formated a XFS partition to FAT32 in GParted because I didn't think I would lost all the data on it. Unfortunately I did (stupid me!). Now I'm trying to recover the files, but I don't know how. Please help me! (and sorry for my bad english:)

yeah, that was quite stupid :^)

fortunately, not all should be lost, i think it's best if you go to #xfs on freenode (IRC) and ask one of the people there. I think their topic also mentions a mailinglist.
Furthermore you could try applications like 'testdisk' to scan your disk for filesystesignatures and restoring the filesystem.
