Topic: GParted LiveCD boots into Grub

On a Gateway desktop my GParted Live CD boots into Grub. This desktop does have some disk/partition issues that I'm trying to fix but what do I do next after landing up in Grub?

Do you have RAM enough to run the live cd? I have this problem on a computer 10 years old (didn't solve it till now).

It has 512MB RAM. I think that should be enough.

Is there any BIOS issue perhaps? What about the graphics adaptor ?
Do you have the boot menu before, or just the prompt?
